Select a level area of compacted ground. Clear all debris (rocks, etc.) If you choose at this time you may lay down sand, a pool pad, or indoor/outdoor carpet as padding for the bottom of your SOFPOOL ( this optional but is recommended for a premium installation).
Remove your pool from the storage bag, unfold your pool on the area you have selected. Take care to place the pool so the pump, intake, outlets, and ladder fastening pad are located where you want them (See Diagram 2, Fig. 1 and Fig. 2).
Inflate and install the air bladders (tubes or columns) under the white top section (collar) of your pool (See Diagram 4, Fig. 6). For best results, inflate the bladders approximately 2/3 full of air using the pump supplied (See Diagram 4, Fig. 4). This will allow you to easily move and adjust the bladders under the white top ring of your pool. Then secure the velcro straps (See Diagram 4, Fig. 5) over bladders. Once the pool is full of water, you may finish filling the air bladders while they are in place... this will give your pool a nice sturdy top ring. Before you start filling your pool assemble your ladder and fasten the bottom step to the two velcro straps located on the pool floor (See Diagram 2, Fig. 1). Then install the two threw pool bulkhead fittings into the pool... make sure the nut (female) potion of the fitting is on the outside of the pool wall along with the large black washer. The male portion is on the inside wall of the pool (See Diagram 2, Fig. 2).
Next, remove all the wrinkles that may be in the pool floor. Walk around the pool and at each side wall seem tug at the pool to remove wrinkles (See Diagram 2, Fig. 3).
Now install the pool plumbing: "Pump & Filter" (See Diagram 1).
Then install the skimmer onto the ladder (See Diagram 3).
You are now ready to start filling your pool with water.
If you choose to take down your SOFPOOL for winter storage, you can empty the water by removing the pump discharge hose from the threw pool bulkhead fitting. Then, run the pump to empty the pool. Make sure you completely dry the pool before you fold it and place it back in the storage bag (See Diagram 5 for folding procedure).
